Literature Text

In the days of the past,
In the days truly dense.
In the days that don't come,
like the days by the fence.
In the days where the mind
shows thorough recompense;
These days that give way
are the days in the sense.

In the days in the blue,
In the days soon demure.
In the days where hope won't shine,
the days we endure.
O to work through the mind
to burrow thorough recompense;
O to smile by the days
of the days in the sense.

O to run through days of down,
follow through negligence.
To prance along the meadow's ground,
through the sun's benevolence.
Through the time, relaxed sublime,
Through the sired recompense;
Through starry halls for new a ball,
through new ground in days of sense.

And now tis time to dimmer said past,
no matter how deep nor discernibly dense.
And now tis time complete said goals to come;
to paint a white coat on the needle-dropped fence.
And now tis time to pleasure knowledge in the mind,
to follow your thorough said recompense;
And now tis time to let the leaf grow anew,
tis to pave your road, to begin your days of sense.
First Poem I wrote in Sophomore year and it was in AP Psychology. Super proud. :D

As always, Constructive criticism is greatly appreciated.

Enjoy! :D
